Ere Gowda is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, and director from Karnataka, best known for co-writing the acclaimed film Thithi and directing Balekempa. His documentary Sarala Virala won the National Film Award for Best Educational Film. Rising from humble beginnings, his work is celebrated for its authentic storytelling and rural narratives.
